Activities Performed

Trained and supported 6,000 households on sweet potato farming and vitamin C fortified sweet potato seedlings (vines). Also trained and supported 3,000 households on grasscutter farming and grasscutter breeding stock. HGPL also created market for the farming households by off taking farmed produce. These farmers are the major sweet potato tubers suppliers to HGPL sweet potato processing plants.
